Pronuptia Newcastle's owner is running in this years most iconic half marathon on the planet, the 30th BUPA Great North Run on Sunday 19th September.
Pronuptia Newcastle will be running for the Breast Cancer Campaign.
Breast Cancer Campaign's mission is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
The Bupa Great North Run is more than an excuse to take part in a world class race – it’s an exciting, exhilarating (some might say, exhausting!) way to join an elite team of Campaign supporters known as Linford’s All Stars. Led by Olympian and all-round sports star, Linford Christie, the All Stars are a thrill-seeking, hard working, determined team who want to make a real difference to the 46,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK.
We are running in the 30th Bupa great North Run on Sunday 19th September 2010. Our runner is owner Mark Dowell who is running for Breast Cancer Campaign Charity. You will be helping us to fund innovative world-class research across the UK and Ireland, making a significant impact on Breast cancer for the benefit of the patients.
